2. Description of Service

AthleteLink is a matching platform that connects parents and families with basketball trainers, coaches, and athletic programs. Our launch focus is Los Angeles basketball, with matches dependent on location, services, and availability.

• Parents submit information about their athlete's training needs
• AthleteLink matches families with qualified trainers in their area
• Trainers contact matched families directly
• The Service is free for parents; trainers pay for access to matched opportunities

Independent Contractors: AthleteLink is a matching platform only. Trainers and coaches are independent contractors, not employees or agents of AthleteLink LLC.

No Guarantees: We do not guarantee:

• Specific results or outcomes from training services
• The quality, safety, or legality of services provided by trainers
• That matched trainers will be available or responsive
• Bookings, enrollment, retention, or revenue from a connection; purchased package quantities are stated before payment

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AthleteLink LLC and AthleteLink shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service.

6. Payments and Refunds

For Parents: The Service is free. You are not charged any fees to be matched with trainers.

For Sports Businesses: Applications are reviewed before purchase. Approved partners may purchase one exclusive connection for $50 or three for $150. Both are one-time purchases, with no subscription or automatic renewal. Each purchased connection is an exclusive family introduction. AthleteLink does not sell that same connection to another trainer or program. A connection does not guarantee a customer. Payment and connection-credit rules are set out in the Partner Terms & Conditions and shown before payment.

7. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using AthleteLink, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. SMS Communications

If you opt in to SMS text messaging, you agree to receive text messages from AthleteLink at the phone number you provided by selecting our separate, optional SMS checkbox. Parent messages concern submitted requests, matches, and related follow-ups. Trainer messages concern family service requests, matches, and partner application and account updates. This does not enroll you in unrelated marketing or authorize texts from matched businesses. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message or by contacting us at support@theathletelink.com. For help, reply HELP. Consent to receive SMS is not a condition of using the Service or purchasing any goods or services.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms of Service.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated terms on our website. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
